Rich and mellow in the mouth, full and melting, chewy. Overall, a great deal of freshness. At the peak of its evolution.

Italy: 1958 - An exceptional year. Full, not too mellow wine, full-bodied, very brilliant, deep bouquet.
Bordeaux: 1959 - An exceptional year. Small harvest. Brilliant, very good colour. A fine peppery bouquet. Very much a Cos wine.
