Old and rare wines bottles are often irreplaceable.

Vintage wines are much sought-after by collectors and amateurs.
As years go, vintage wines developed themselves toward more balanced in which the terroir and the winemaker skills can be fully expressed.

The most interesting vintages of the sixties for wine collectors are:

Bordeaux: 1961 - An exceptional year. Very limited quantity.
Very brilliant, even dazzling. Deep and intense ruby colour. A complex bouquet of crystallized aromas.
A monumental, enormous wine which is still not yet fully mature. A splendid finish. Long and fresh in the mouth.
Italy: 1961 -An exceptional year.Full wine, wonderfully intense, with a high alcoholic content.
A bouquet of great intensity and wonderful silk.

Bordeaux: 1962 - A very good year. Abundant quantity. A deep ruby colour. Very good concentration.
In the mouth, limited tannins, but harmonious and elegant. A wine which is still delicious.

Italy: 1964 - A very good year. A wine with a superb balance, a wine of great perfume, body and size, precious for its longevity.
Bordeaux: 1964 - A very good year. Abundant quantity. A deep red colour, little developed.
Aromas peculiar to a mature year, crystallized cherry, smoked meat, but also hints of dry fruits and the cigar box.
In the mouth it is distinguished, delicate and sinewy. A structure of closed up, discreet tannins. An agreeable finish. To be drunk now.

Bordeaux: 1966 - A very good year. Average quantity. Very brilliant. An intense colour but not excessively so.
Ruby and slightly orange coloured round the edge. Peppery aromas, vanilla, predominantly woody, very fresh, slightly evocative of plant life.
A massive, monolithic wine with tannins backed by very present fixed acidity. Robust, although a certain melting quality is lacking.
